When i have time, i will remouve the wheels and bring them too a friend.
He will paint them Gold.

Alex, your bike is beautiful but it looks like you put a disk brake lock on your bike even when it is in your living room? Holland must be a tough place!

Hoi Alex
You Dutch guys are really cool!

Wish I could at least look at my CB1100 like you even if I can't ride it.
Is that a retro radio on your cabinet too, like the original CB's?

[meowguy_imp]

What do you do about gasoline fumes in the living room? Have fire insurance, escape plan?

THe seat cost me 300,00 euro ( your old seat stays by robb, he sent it too France and make a new seat like mine.)

Did you notice the silver calipers and oil cooler? Goes well with the all-silver engine.

When they first showed the US version I was expecting to see the silver engine like I'd seen from the Japan/Australia photos. I didn't like the black then...but now I do!

[rboe]

Darn handsome seat, but I'd like something a wee bit taller. Gives me some ideas. That silver motor looks good too. The black looks great too - I could easily go either way.

Hello Alexkrijnsen,
my compliments for your CB, it looks marvellous !
Honestly, if I did not live in a 2nd floor flat I'd take my CB in my living room too, to look at her and dream about the next good season rides ...:biker:

I've brought home just today the GPR muffler.
Do you have any particular advice about the stock muffler removal and following GRP mounting ?
Is it something that I can do with the bike on its centerstand ?
Any strange tool to be used ?

Ciao from Italy

Black61..this is an old thread. The last time Alex was online was back in March. You might click on his name and try an email. I don't think there is anything tricky or special tools needed to install a slip on muffler.

I'm guessing the winters are very long in Holland.

Hello i am back on the site, last time i logt in on a.krijnsen now i have my acount back.
Too remove the stock muffler there is nothing special too do.
One thing is verry importend too fix the GPR muffler, the centerstand must come not too high, becouse it can hid the chain. I repaised a new gummibuffer too fix the centerstand 1 cm lower so it can not hid the chain.

Hello Alexkrijinsen,

thanks for your note and important advice. Muffler is already on and looks great (see pic). I like the sound too.
(I've decided not to use the black rubber sleeves)
Really a pity I cannot have a new ride till next march/april.

Happy New Year to everybody !!

What is that? Iambic pentameter? Haha. Something about the way your posts appear make them rather poetic. I read them in a jazzy beatnik rhythm accompanied by a snare drum and brushed cymbals. You have a talent Alex. You're an artist!

Welcome back to the forum. Beautiful motorcycle.
