wheel imbalance

Would anyone have an idea how a wheel imbalance can (relatively quickly) increase from “not existing” to “serious” over just 1000 miles, IF you cannot see or feel any bumps or problems, not with the tire, not with the valve, not with the rim ?
Thanks for any (even the wildest) ideas !

Well done MMC!
j3 is it out of balance or out of round?
And how do you notice it, does it " bounce " at 80 km/hr?

Interesting scenario though.

Never had a wheel weight?

Surprisingly, more than a few ADV riders have expressed not needing their wheels balanced, whether KTMs, Africa Twin, Tigers, etc. and they do freeway slab too.
