I might be the only person in the history of the bike who's considered returning it to 100% stock after extensive modifications. I still have every single stock part, and the bike has performed so well for so long I kind of want to put it back together as a reward for service well rendered. Trade your swords for plowshares old man. It's time to rest.

I then purchased OEM Parts from Honda to return the rear fender, mirrors, etc. to the oringal configuration from the factory. I did not like the cost but I do like the look. Hence, I did not only consider it but I did it! No regrets, brother.
I like OEM CB, but I hate it without the rear fender!

This, sir, is heresy!

Frenchie, I understand why you would suggest that for consideration. However, the RLET Police have served notice that I will be jailed and my house burnt to the ground if I do anything to prevent the RLET gospel from being preached on this Forum. Darth Vader himself would be summoned from the abyss to dispatch justice. RLETs are here to stay.
Although it is a matter of taste, I am glad I installed mine. I am also amused that my single most popular thread was a tutorial about how I installed RLETs without resulting to brute force and cursing. I created a version on this forum if you care to check it out if you are so moved. It looks like that trend will continue.David
