Those are the mounts for the panniers.

Are the rear shocks the OEM without the cap?

Nah they're from Ikon Suspension.

Whoa! That's quite the '70s retro paint job! When I first saw it, this is the bike that came to mind :

Haha yeah I was going for a AMF kinda vibe (I'm an all-inclusive moto-lover).

Really cool. Hepco Becker panniers, it looks like. Can you mount the panniers with the mini rear turn signals in the original location? If they were stock, I think you'd have to move the signals.

Again, really cool look.

This helmet will certainly go well with your Seventies design!

[Papa Weeley_imp]

Wow, that is wild.
Brings back some old, nostalgic feelings!

Very nice CB1100! The black paint scheme really makes it look different.

They're actually from SW Motech. No the mounts come with a signal relocation kit to the license plate area on the stock fender. I guess the tail light area is made differently on whatever model year the kit was made for so it doesn't really fit. I'm still trying to sort out the best way to do this since the panniers cover the signals and tail light from the side. I'm might just slap some reflective tape on the side of the panniers and call it a day.
