Only about underwater hoons and bad pediatric dentists.Cormanus_imp said:Nemo. *sigh* A small orange and white striped fish who's adventured all the way to Australia should know all about hoons.
The term has become sort of respectable. In some states of Australia we have what the press and politicians refer to as 'anti hooning' laws. They allow police to confiscate vehicles used by hoons for hooning purposes. It's a great word and has been around for a while. In its more refined modern usage it refers to a particular class of dipstick that I, for one, have no interest in joining. They're the sort of people who think nothing of trashing thousands of dollars worth of tyre in a single spectacular burnout. They must be rich.
This bloke is apparently a classic: flaunting his stupidity in front of the police. He will probably emerge from his court hearing complaining about being treated unfairly.

Thank goodness for anti hooning legislation! :-/Cormanus_imp said:Nemo. *sigh* A small orange and white striped fish who's adventured all the way to Australia should know all about hoons.

I like the word and now use it constantly, mostly completely out of context but what matters is that it sounds cool.

Actually, and apropos other threads at the moment, it occurs to me that Pterodactyl's motto could well be "I'm a hoon with a Staintune."
I did see an article where the writer was able to wheelie it. That seems impressive.GoldOxide_imp said:Cute news reporter.
Has anyone seen a hooner on a CB1100?
Or is the wording, "Has anyone seen a CB1100 being hooned?" :-/
