 man, why don't I proof read before hitting enter. :dodgy:

Lol. By the way, I always thought ciruit was spelled Sir Root!

Thanks Ferret. All set. Bein Sports is the best $13 a month I've spent in a while. It will be great to see qualifying instead of reading about it.

MotoGP Video Pass might be nice, but my wireless internet connection is marginal.

MotoGP pass is great. Worked for me in Peru in a place with very marginal wifi

"If you're not first, you're last!"

-The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Can't really win a race practice, the bike setup and tires are very different during the race, so, say Rossi is off Marquez' pace by one second in practice, he may well run faster or as fast in the race due to tires, tire wear, bike setup. Qualifying is important, though, one can certainly "win" pole position. Amazing to see Vinales right up there as well as Crutchlow. Suzuki is having a stunning year.

Watching FP4 on Videopass right now. USA used to own GP racing, for 25 years, "Roberts to Roberts" but we have lost our interest in motorcycle racing lately. Seemed to fade with the 2-strokes.

Watching qualifying right now..you should see the wings on the Yamahas... Huge! Look like car spoilers lol.. And the Ducati's have a lot of spoiler too

Looks like front row will be Marquez in pole followed by Lorenzo and Rossi.

Dang, that is a spoiler (no pun intended)...isn't there a "spoiler alert" rule on this forum? I have darn near been kicked off other forums for revealing results, lol!

Wolf,

Ferret IS the Moderator. I'm pretty sure he isn't banning himself :)

You can't spoil anything with qualifying results lol (or FP1, 2 or 3 results)

Now race results, we will put a spoiler alert on

Thanks for posting the results Mickey. I don't get the races on my service.

I watch practice and qualifying like it was a race but no worries, now I know threads may contain spoilers just as the bikes now have spoilers lol!

Be forwarned the few road race enthusiasts we have on this forum discuss and announce results from practices, qualifying, news announcements and the like, which gives us more to discuss, but actual race results are protected under Spoiler warnings to give those that dvr the races a reasonable chance to watch the race without knowing the outcome beforehand.

Got it!

Marquez's best qualifying lap was on the first of 3 attempts. Lorenzo and Rossi are right on his tail.

If the start is a normal one, expect Marquez to be 3rd, 4th or worse out of the first corner. I hope he has the patience and maturity to pick good spots to pass. He'll be worried the Yamahas and Ducati's get away.

I'll be watching the top 3 as well as Iannone and Vinales. I hope Dani can get into the mix.

Poor Jack Miller is out with an injury, having high sided during a FP.

Yea Miller highside was a nasty one.

Poor Dani, I have rooted for him for so many years. Not sure what is going on with him this year.

If you are watching on Bein Sports in the US, I strongly suggest you go to their website and register for their online service. As long as you are a subscriber via cable/ satellite it's free. On their #6 stream, you'll find loads of additional live coverage of practice, qualifying, MotoAmerica, etc. I watched the qualifying live yesterday, and the bonus is that it is raw footage, unedited, with all the graphics and data and post race interviews, but comes with no commentary. The sound of the bikes is cranked up way past what you hear on the TV feed, and it's incredible. A huge upgrade for US motorbike racing enthusiasts this year!
