Looks like the race will be on 620 from 12:00-4:00 so I am guessing the GP starts about 2:30 or 3 PM.

Problem is they are calling for rain. Guys like Marquez, Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa are not in qualifying position at this time for automatic qualification. THey may have to run q2 tomorrow for grid position behind the first 10.
Ferret, Argentina's time is GMT -3 and the start is at 4 pm local time. I think you're on GMT -4 which means the race will start at 3 pm your time. How civilised. It starts at 5 am my time.

After Q2 Marquez on pole followed by Karel Abraham believe it or not, then Crutchlow Pedrosa on second row with Vinales. Rossi third row. Dovisioso and Lorenzo didn't transfer and will be somewhere in 5th or 6th row.

My prediction: Both factory Yamahas ride to the front with satellite Ducati's in the mix. Hoping the 3 Hondas in the top 5 do well but I'm braced for disappointment. Lorenzo claims he was happy going into the race, having found some solutions to his issues. It will be interesting to see how much progress he makes in the race
Well done Yamaha! Viñales rode a textbook race after Marquez departed so inelegantly. Pedrosa took an identical route out of the race. A fine performance by Cal Crutchlow, even if he couldn't keep Rossi at bay in the end. And Johann Zarco again showed that he will be a force to be reckoned with. Marquez will have to perform in Austin if he's to be a championship contender this year.

Definitly some good racing. Too bad about the Honda boys.. Marquez had a heck of a lead and threw it away and Pedrosa had just set the fastest lap and threw it away. Vinales is a force to be reckoned with . Wonder how long the Yamaha garage will be tranquil lol. Zarco, Folger both looked good.

I'll bet Lorenzo is ruing the day he inked that Ducati contract.The ferret_imp said:

I think you might be right, redbirds. I also hope Lorenzo is able to sort out the Ducati. They seem so fast and competitive on some days and with other riders that you can't just blame the bike. I wonder whether he just hasn't got the hang of it yet.

To me, Lorenzo seems a poor fit for the Ducati. His smooth riding style was rewarded by the high cornering speed of the Yamaha and this allowed him to start from the first row most times. On the Ducati, starting from mid-pack is now his norm and that's a place he's never done well from even on a Yamaha.
