Imagine..this is a new forum..for a new motorcycle, but oh how it can bring members together.

Last week I met Mike (bravoMike) and just missed meeting Kathi (KVdreamer) down in Maggie Valley.

Tonight I went to a Vintage Night at the Rootbeer Stand in Sharonville Ohio and met forum members Curt (hondahoarder) and Art. Good guys. Had a great time, 2 chili cheese dogs and a mug of root beer. What a hoot!

L to right Art, ferret and Hondahorder

If you wonder what we are laughing about, Curt is so tall, I drug a concrete block over to stand on so you couldn't see how short I really am

Dont know what Curt and Art were discussing, but pretty sure it was the CB1100

Art with his CB. Arts wife in the background rode her new 2014 Honda 700 for all to see. Cool bike

Way too fun, really enjoyed meeting both you guys and Art's wife's bike was sweet as well.

Good gathering, this Vintage bike nite is picking up steam. Just hope I can be in town on Wednesday's more often. The weather couldn't have been better!

Although I don't keep the CB1100 in Cincy so all I had was my 1981 CB750K, so we couldn't do a group bike pic!

Thanks for the pics Mickey! Hope all got home safe, and look forward to next time!

Dang; you guys could pass for Guzzi riders too. :poke:
No Guzzi riders there tonight (heard they are rare..lol ). Just some Hondas, a Yamaha, a Suzuki, Couple BMWs and a couple Triumphs...but no Guzzis.

Don't mention Guzzi around Deb, she fell in love with a 71 Black Eldorado at Ama's Vintage days and that is all she is talking about
Really how cool is that, thanks for the forum!!!

Dont let her talk to my brother, or one will end up in your garage. He loved his 850 Eldorado.

Well alright! Sounds / looks like a good time. It's nice to know that some of you out there are now getting to meet one another.

We know who to blame for this Mr. Guth! ;)

Hey ferret,

Did they give you that Honda shirt when you bought your bike? I got one just like it!

Ok, I have to ask, if you are that short, how do you build, and TEST, an English long bow? :)

Honda had a I wanna Ride Promotion and my local dealer gave me a couple of the shirts.

I'm not the biggest guy in the world, my part time job is for Keebler baking cookies in a big ol tree.

I'm 5'6"... Most English men, well most men, were that short or shorter 500 years ago. Bottom limb on an English longbow is only 3' long, so there is ground clearance, and remember they held them above vertical to shoot long distance....so do I ha ha.

At our Guzzi breakfast each month it's rare that only Guzzi's show up. E.g. I showed up on the CB1100 last month (was told I had to. :) ). We've had some large groups lately and the marks are well represented. Most guys seem to own more than one bike and others; well, they are between Guzzi's. I got my Griso because I became impatient with Honda bringing over the CB1100. At first I was keen on selling the Griso but now, not so much. Damn things kinda get under your skin. As much as l like my CB, the Guzzi scratches a different itch.

A small group of riders meet in Cave Creek on Sunday AM, been trying to meet Chip up there; perhaps we can get some other Phoenix owners up there. Especially this fall when the riding turns great. Some of us meet up there then ride on to other points.

Ferret I hope your recovery is a fast one.

Guth I am coming to Portland late September would love to cross paths!
OH! And what is Art's Username on here I can't seem to find him!
