Let's see your CB1100 out on the road!

February ride logged.

Took a short 20 mile ride. Stopped at the the Park District building where I will be serving a 4 year term as a Park Board Commissioner starting in April. Also stopped along one of the roads I usually ride to work which is flooded out and frozen over.

Spring will be here soon. Spring will be here soon. Spring will be here soon.

Congrats Sea, another consecutive month.

Might be kinda hard to make it all the way across that icy spot ya know.

Lol. Yes, I know. For perspective, but not great perspective, this pic was taken sometime last year when the Des Plaines River was not flooding the roadway. If you look closely at the first picture, you can see the road signs shown in this one.

What can be said, MTC? You're mad. But well done.

Saturday’s ride was completely sane compared to my contemplation of riding two weeks ago when the temp was -23f. Only the slick roads (with a minor threat of divorce) kept my bike in the garage that day. A sunny day with dry roads and an opportunity to complete my 60th consecutive riding month? Totally sane. (I think?)

Tory, what is the black cylinder with a white face low down behind the left header pipes?

Cormanus that is a driving light

Nice looking bike Tory. We need to start an Rlet movement in Taiwan.

popped over to the New Forest today simply to get myself onto the motorway/highway for the first time (yes, I am a noob).

Lovely sunny, fresh day, although Lyndhurst, the town you pass through, was rammed with holidaymakers already, mostly of the grey variety.

Motorway riding was fine btw, no worries.

Bugger, how do you rotate them?

Were these taken and uploaded from an iPhone? I have sometimes seen users have this problem.

In any case, one option is to pre-process the images online, or on your local laptop/desktop machine.

A bit of post-processing later.....

The answer seems to be that when presented with a portrait picture straight from an iPhone upload, the forum mechanics turn it into landscape format. However, if you simply load the pic into Paint and save it as a .jpg, then the forum recognise it as a portrait and displays it as as such
