Wow.. Lorenzo up to his fast and smooth tricks. Another great ride for Rossi. A 10th championship? how cool would that be at 36?
and a great battle for 4th.

Lap 22 onward saw a tremendous back and forth battle between Marquez and Iannone. Multiple passes with both riders almost losing it.

Iannone had suffered a separated shoulder earlier in the week and rode a terrific race. Marquez got pushed out at the start, made an insane move to momentarily regain the lead, only to run wide and perhaps cook this brakes. At one point he was several seconds behind in 6th behind Bradley Smith. Both eventually caught up to Iannone and then an intense battle ensued. Marquez is currently 33 points out of first.

Yamaha dominated and VR put on a great show climbing from 7th to 2nd. Great race!!!!

Ah, but the ride of the day was from Danny Kent in Moto3. Just wow!!! He was 31st on the grid, and finished fourth.

Still, the fight between Iannone and Marquez was epic!

Yes that was a fantastic battle for Fourth place. Good to see Lorenzo back to old Lorenzo again too. This is going to be a great season with potentially 4 riders and three makes gunning for the championship.

Honda has their work cut out for them. Three of 4 factory riders crashed at Le Mans due to front end handling issues and the 4th - Marc Marquez - was seriously handicapped by the same issues. The Honda riders are saying the bike is a beast to ride this year. Meanwhile Yamaha and Ducati have improved. Case it point, Marquez's race time this year was within a couple tenths of his winning time last year. Yet he ended up 20 seconds behind Lorenzo. In other words Jorge averaged over 0.7 seconds a lap better than last year's winning pace.

That's really interesting CB4ME. There is going to be a lot of pressure on Pedrosa to stay healthy and get competitive right? Is he under contract for next year?

yes Pedrosa signed a 2 year contract last year. of course if he can't compete something would have to be done.
