My CB is now totally legal in the eyes of MA. I got my inspection sticker, yes, every year. Registrations expire in on December 31 and Inspection stickers expire every May.

After being stuck...I headed out the Polpis Road. The Polpis road is Nantucket's version of The Dragon, but only about 7 miles long. I stopped in Sconset (short for Siasconset) which is literally "The End of the World as We Know It". It is the Eastern most point of the United States.

Smart move on the Kawi boots, the best quality,

Thanks ss2. I think I give Ferret credit for the Kawa numbers. They do look good on this bike.

How do you like the Dart ? Does it help ? or just look good.

Looking at seats too, what's on yours ? It looks similar to a stock seat, but more comfy.

The dart just takes some pressure off you,I just love the look, quality and fit of the mini screen. As far as the seat,it is a stock 13 seat that my local seat guy lowerd and covered for me,I like it but on longer rides I will throw my Airhawk pad on or ride my HD Switchback loungechair:rofl:

Look just past the bike..the world is flat and there's the edge.

Bike looks great Chapomis. Are you going to leave the front reflectors on?

I was looking at those today and I remember reading a thread about removing them. Whats the best way ?

I warmed the front reflectors with a heat gun to soften the adhesive then used a piece of dental floss, stretched tight between my hands, worked it behind the reflector and stripped it off. Used a bit of Goo Gone on a rag to clean up the bit of adhesive left. Took about 5 minutes.

just pull off with your hand,if any of the foam tape stays on the fork use your thumb to roll it off and clean any residue with wax,or use fishing line sliding behind them to loosen:thumbsup:

Chapomis, lovely photos. It's a beautiful island.

It occurs to me you've a decent ride ahead of you to get to NC. Which way will you go?

I'm 50/50 on gaiters vs gaiterless, some days I'm thinking gaiters and other days I lean towards the more streamlined look without them... it is a dilemma I must say:( But I do have RLETs on order for both my DLX and CRF250L, that's a no brainer!

The gaitors do really tie the bike together..

Darnit. thought I might be done.
The gaiters were the first thing I added, actually, I bought them and sent them to the dealer before it was even out of the crate. I Have never seen my bike without them, so I consider them to be OEM.

So you're not going to ride that beautiful CB?

Really nice part of the world you are showing us. Thanks Chapomis. I would imagine that when the weather turned foul that would be an angrier sea than that you have shown us.

Come on lets see your CB at the rally. 1000miles, easy peasy in three days and doable in two :).

Cheers

Angry enough to remove 10 to 15 feet of the South Shore every year.

Thanks for those pix. I was out there 17yrs. ago. Loved the surf on South beach. Glad I brought $$,I imagine one would need more $$$$ now!
