Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Anyone doing "Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" this year?
https://www.gentlemansride.com/

I am registered for the ride and they gave me a link for fund raising (link here); posting it here in case anyone is interested in sharing some "coffee money" for a good cause.

Thanks heaps.

I've thought about doing it in Brisbane, but haven't go around to signing up yet. A couple of US members have asked about it ...

See CB1100 Forum and http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9413]http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9413 and

There has, it seems, been a remarkable lack of response so far.

If I don't go, I'll try to remember to sponsor you ... prostate cancer is a cause dear to my heart.

Thanks Cormanus.

I had an email from the "Movember" foundation recently. Thats how I found out about it. Now I am doing everything thing I can to give it maximum publicity. Three great causes - cure for cancer, care for depression, conserve the classic rides! Can't go wrong with that!

Yeah ... that all sounds pretty good to me. Pterodactyl scrubs up well as a distinguished gent, but I'm not sure how interested he is in group rides.

I'm in the Asheville, NC ride. Feel free to donate. It's for a great cause!

We are having a DGR ride here and I will be taking part as I have done the past few years.

Mike D. - I wish I could join you on my CB1100, but I'm going to be away that weekend. So I just logged on an sponsored you. Perhaps we can meet up on the BRP some day for a ride. I'm close to Marion, NC.

Thanks, A-man! I appreciate it. Send me a PM sometime, and we'll make a plan.

We are no closer to cure for cancer now than we were 25 years ago. In the meantime, billions of dollars have been risen to keep in business those that search for cure, and next to nothing was done to prevent the disease.

Those that contribute to those that search for "cure for cancer" are well advised to ask for the account of the monies they contributed. I prefer to contribute to the cause of prevention.

Hosting the Vancouver ride this year. These are always a good time for a good cause. It's not that old (2012), but seems to be growing every year. We had 12 riders in 2012 in the Vancouver ride and should have 150+ this year easy.
