CB1100 Monthly Photo Challenge

Month only has a week or so left and we've had TWO entries. Guess it wasn't such a good theme after all. I thought for sure as much as motorcyclists like to ride and eat we'd have had a dozen entries by now..

I fear that we are all less inclined to ride to eat when so many eateries are closed or otherwise hamstrung. My problem is that my favorite restaurant's closest location is in Raleigh, NC. But! I get to go there this weekend on the way to visit Houtman and A-Man. But I'll be in the car so that's no good at all :-/
All that said, I will try to post a photo with a favorite local spot before time runs out.

I'd agree with Bob that some folks aren't riding out to eat as much this summer. All the same, though, I think it's a good topic for the challenge and perhaps by talking this thread up, a few people will get out this week(end) and post some pics.

What restaurant is it? We use to ride to Cary each Sunday. There was a place where Moto enthusiast would gather (not your Harley crowd) when I lived in Fayetteville. We would grab a bite to eat then head out for a ride.

It's a chain called Schlotzsky's. I have loved them since my college days in San Marcos, TX. They make awesome sandwiches. But I admit that it is mostly the great memories of those good old days that make me love them. Kinda like the CB1100, I suppose!

Today I stopped by the very best pizzeria in my home town, “Westtown Pizza”. (Ignore the fact it is the only pizzeria in Westtown, NY.) I ordered and brought home a meatball parmigiana sub to split with my wife.

The building was a barn at one time.

Unfortunately, we were so anxious to eat that delicious sub, I forgot to photograph it! This is the best I could do:

Hmm. So it would appear that I get to pick October’s challenge.

Submit a picture of your bike in front of a police station or courthouse. Any such building will do, but if you are a reasonable ride from an historic police station or courthouse, try to capture that one.
Please feel free to include the location of the building and any history you can provide without incriminating yourself.

My intentions was not be the first to post this month’s photo challenge. But the weather was absolutely gorgeous and I had no conflicts to keep me from riding a 99 mile loop.
I stopped in Goshen, NY to take a picture of the “1841 Goshen Courthouse”. Wikipedia has a good summary about this building:

I think I heard Claudius’ voice above the door telling me that is one beautiful motorcycle I have. I’m glad he didn’t pick the key from my pocket

Got out to the Fairfax County Courthouse today on the way to lunch with my buddy Jim and got this terrible shot of the brutalist architecture.

I thought about going downtown to the Supreme Court but didn't want to get mixed in with protesters/counter protesters, etc.
