One thing not mentioned in that ad is the detuning of the street legal US version to about 100hp. This was done to get the racing designed engine to comply with emission and noise regulations. Still a stunning machine with handling that the well heeled enthusiast will now be able to sample. Imagine what a fabulous track day machine this would be.

The Honda RC213V-S is actually cheap for what it is — because it is The Real Deal. Truth is, value is totally subjective. What you consider ‘worth it’ may be considered by others to be reckless spending. Try asking a third world inhabitant if they’d be prepared to spend four bucks on a cup of Starbucks coffee if you want an example. How about that iPhone in your pocket? Worth it? I’ll bet there are millions worldwide who simply wouldn’t even conceptualize spending hundreds of dollars on a phone.

lady knocked over my zx10r last year by backing into it
frame was dented but dealer was able to strip the bike off the damaged frame and replace it with a new one
cost over five grand but her insurance paid for it
the bike was actually better afterward due to being assembled by a master technician
steering bearings and all torque points were done perfectly
