Unfortunately I won't be able to buy a new model before the end of this year or the next.
I wonder if the CB1100 will still be available in 2016, and if you think colours will change.
Thank you!

Hello Dareius! Welcome to the forum. There is great debate and anticipation over whether Honda will even offer a 2015 model. So far, no official word from Japan. We are taking things year by year and can't look as far as 2016. I imagine Honda will analyze each market and decide if and where to release any new models. It is possible that some parts of the world will get the 2015 and 2016 models while other parts of the world do not. If new models are released, I would expect to see new colors and possibly other upgrades. The CB1100 is already offered in different colors depending on which country you live in. It would be easy enough for Honda to make those colors available in different areas of the world. It may be that when you are ready to buy, you'll be left looking for a used CB1100.

Don't wait. They may not be available. If you want a new one, buy it now. Or, like metallyguitarded says, settle for a used one. One problem with used bikes is that they will sell for "about " the price you would pay today for new. Every year new bike prices increase and the used bike market follows that trend. If you need a loan, rates are higher on used vehicles than they are on new ones. The final price is what should be considered. I've seen used 2013's going for $6900., when I could have bought a new one in the summer of 2014 for $7990.
Just my opinion. Rocket

Well, I will take him at his word that he can't buy one until 2016 at the earliest.
Dareius, if Honda stops selling them in the Italy then you may indeed need to buy one used. Know though that it is a solid well built bike and search for one that has been well taken care of. Yes, there are a lot of folks on this forum who like this bike a lot but not all owners are on this forum. There are probably some CB1100s out there that are will basically sit in the garage unused for years before someone decides to sell it. If Honda has stopped making them, just keep a look out for a lightly used one and you may end up with a great bike in the end anyway.

Saturday morning, the only moment in a week where I can do something for me and my passions. Went to the Honda dealer and sat on it. What can I say? Perfect riding position, high level of craftsmanship and metal around me. Is the tank in metal?
I love this bike, I finally found the one for me. Just have to save my money for some months...here a picture of me!

Dareius, yes the tank is metal as well as the front and rear fenders. Side covers ,headlight shell, turn signal bodies and rear taillight bracket are plastic
