Easy RLET installation, using a sheep castrator

Well, after pushing and pulling and greasing and soaping, i finally get a suggestion from a friend to use a sheep castration tool to install the RLETS. Ladies and gentlement, this is a game changer. Behold!

My friend loaned me her "device" which she owns for the purpose of changing the rubber tips on steel pan drum mallets... apparently this is standard practice for percussionists... and here we were trying to reinvent the wheel... Ha!

Apparently in real use, you use this tool to put a taut rubber bander over general ball sack area and, the balls just shrivel up and fall off?????

Geez well we dont want this thread to go down hill and get deleted, so we will just accept that explanation, leave it at that, and move on.

Anyhow it works pretty slick for installeing Rlets

Does it need to be sterilized prior to RLET application?

I do wonder how much a cheaper one would be. I cant imagine any other use after RLET install but sometimes you can't figure something out and go "wait I might have a tool"

Your on the money mate, it is for putting rubber rings on the tails/balls of lambs.
