I adjusted the spreadsheet.
Somehow my information and experiences did got in there, but not the simple but important fact: its cured
I recently visited the current owner, and the bike still runs smooth, no idle issue at all.
And he rides intercontinental vacations on motorcycles, so I expect my previous bike to be ridden to death
On a sidenote.
Almost 100 pages of comments and, what? almost 3 years of experiences shared from all over the world and still no cause detected, no clear solution, no nothing, not even from mother Honda himself.
My fixed issue was more an gamble solution than a clear cause-> solution.

iacv ohms resistance update;
2010 japan model between two outer pins 109 ohms, between inner two pins also 109 ohms,
the coils are not connected together.
For your reference, it may be all the same between models or there may be a difference, just one more data point.

I see it differently as I once wrote before somewhere here in this long thread.
After some own suggested attempts to free my CB from idle problems, the only 'real' solution, there is one, I see in an updated software by Honda. They had made some misprogramming right from the start, which causes this desease later and corrected it. Too bad that the correction can't be used all over the world, to light up the darkside of the CB and make some CB riders happier. So they still have to tap around to heal the misfunction of their CBs by trial and error and draw their own conclusions, why something doesn't work the way it should. Somehow a poor and unsatisfying side of the world biggest motor manufactor...to big to fail?

Not that we are aware of in this forum. I don't believe there have been any issues on post 2014 models that I can recall. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I haven't experienced any issues on the 2014 model in the fives of use. Mind you, it has mostly been stored outdoors during that time.

Ferret, how about your 2014 deluxe? have you had such problem?
I am planning on buying a lightly used CB1100 (to save a buck or two, and have no particular ad in mind).
2014 added 6th gear and a bigger fuel tank capacity. I'd really like that.
2017 - new tank design which I prefer, but these models are virtually non existent for sale where I live.
So that leaves me with 2014 models.... issues like these makes me take another look at Kawasaki W800 (which also has its own possible issues with FI, but they seem to be solvable unlike CB).
Should I just ask sellers if they encountered such issue and find one who did and had it fixed by HONDA, or should I look for one that did not have such issue (what are the chances of it appearing? at what mileage?)

I saw your video yesterday. Very helpful. People can now visually understand what is the exact problem.
I see that you had whole throttle body replaced back in 2016.
Is the bike idle problem free since then?
