None of that since early February. I'm doing 500/600 miles a day like it's nothing. The bike is running better than new. I put more miles on it the first quarter of 14 than all of 13 (since March).

My riding season is going GREAT!!!!!!

Good to hear you're finally clean Spaceman. That crack's a biarch!

True, but how else am I going to get the crack ho's to come by for a party?

Great start to the season in Seattle. We've had a couple of glorious 80 degree sunny days, and I've put enough miles on to do the initial oil change. Planning to retire this year, and put in some real miles!

Haha, love how the die-hard, staunch conservatives manage to just 'gloss over' the silly schoolboy banter and get right bang back on topic.

It makes the cretinous endeavours of The Spaceman & I rather fruitless in our pursuit of comedy gold.

Christmas day 2013 until late March was a bust for me, except in the farkle department. Now that I have a real driveway and the mud on Eden Mill Road is gone I've been able to put around 400 miles on the bike. Getting less than 40 mpg but the reborn bike is a literal blast.

-2013CB... About 300 miles early in the year.
-2014CB... I'm embarrassed... about 100 in the month I've had her.
-KLR... About 50 miles.
-HD... About 100 miles.

But that'll change...I'm spending a week up in Georgia at the end of the month
and have a few good rides planned on both of my 'northern' bikes.

And I expect to get some miles on the new CB this month as my wife wants to spend the month of May at the house in GA. That leaves me alone in Fla for much of the month with my new toy... Big Grin

Good question ferret.

Answer: No I was was riding dumb when I low sided in February.

Oh hell, I crack myself up. Hang on, maybe I shouldn't have put it quite like that.

Cheers

It's been a great year so far. Jan-Apr are prime riding season around here. I've put about 1,500 miles on the CB11 so far and 1000 on the CB750. In March and April I used up about 5 vacation days to do some AZ road trips during the week (a lot less traffic on the backroads than on weekends).

Now that the hot season is here, I'll still be making my short commute on the bikes everyday, but probably won't be doing as many impromptu road trips.
