Bone stock 2013 with 15 miles. Dumped it on first ride thanks to wax over spray on the right edge surface of the front tire, courtesy the dealer who delive it as I lived out of town. Minor damage. Bar end, right engine cover that covers ignition, rear brake pedal. The muffler has a nickel sized scratch barely noticeable. I got all the replacement parts except the muffler as the buyer might not care or can buy a Yoshimura RS3 slip on for less than $300. The bike has the factory transferable warranty thru 11/2017. I know it's a bad time to sell. I figure to put it on CL and Cycletrader at around $6000. I just want to get something else lighter. No lien as I paid cash. Thanks

Is the dealer covering all the parts and labor costs? They should.

Agreed with will866, as long as you can prove it.
If not, why are you selling? The weight of the CB doesn't sound like it had anything to do with this crash.

Advertise it "For Trade"
You'll get more offers. CB1100 has an unfortunate resale value.

New tires. Break them in. No matter what bike. Too bad about the resale, it is not good on this bike.

Guess I won't be advertising it in Chicagoland,USA for $1500. I'd rather fix it up and ride it. Of course the dealer won't pay for repairs. As for new tires I've bought 7 new bikes since 2009 and they all had new tires and were not crashed. I'll repair it and ride it as I've cleaned the front tire with alcohol Abd a scotch abrasive pad. Road it again with no issue. My guess is they are still new tires. I've been riding long enough to know to go easy on the tires and brakes for the first 100 miles

EmptySea was just giving you a hard time on the price - he was inferring that he'd take it off your hands for a mere $1500...but as mentioned, the re-sale on these bikes is really not great, by any means.
Personally, I think your idea of cleaning it up and keeping it is a great idea, these are just fantastic bikes.

Keep the CB and take your time getting used to it. I doubt you'll find much that is more mild mannered or easy to ride.
