Other than their classification, whether it be retro, classic or standard, I look at Triumphs and CBS as being two totally different animals. I appreciate the merits of both, but I think any CB is way cooler. I agree with Guth's view on pricing and I don't think Honda is trying to produce a bike for everyone, just a well made honest looking motorcycle.

As a proud owner of both, I don't feel any cooler on either. It would take more than a Motorcycle to make me look cool!

It was supposed to be a T120 over a CB1100EX for visual comparison. I'm not sure why the T120 image link wouldn't pull up, but I've re-pasted it in the [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9975&pid=158343#pid158343]original post.

That's harsh. [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9975&pid=158376#pid158376]And yeah, my previous post where JustCruising presumed I was being "tongue-in-cheek", I was indeed. But now I think I was being more realistic than I had thought. Seems like things went from good to worse overnight.

If you have the patience to wait a year or two, you will be rewarded with hefty discounts. This we have learned about the CB1100.Oh boy, that's harsh! And true. I'm going to be taking a gigantic bath if I do sell '13 Standard, I paid full pop. But we'll see. Don't really have to sell it. Only problem with that bike is it reminds of this forum every time I look at it, which raises my blood pressure. Somebody said I should join the Triumph forum, no way. I got that bike to lower my blood pressure and so far it's working. Really? THIS forum (and I'd also say the chromeheads forum (BMW)) are the most chill, relaxing, unpretentious and most helpful forums I have been to. This forum makes me smile, it doesn't stress me out. If it seems to be raising your blood pressure then I believe you should be looking inward for the cause. I take great offense to your post, since it's a put down of all of us.

It still seems that way now for the most part.

Ok fellas deep breath, spring will come again, the sun will come up tomorrow.. Uh...
WE RETURN YOU TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAM The question was MSRP of the 2017 EX? I think retail on the new CB will be slightly higher than it was on the DLX, but I don't know why I think that? 3 years newer? More expensive fuel tank and slipper clutch maybe? spoke wheels maybe? The fact that nothing ever seems to come in less than it was in previous years?
