Some observations on the 2017 EX ..some pics added

I saw the 2017 CB today at the Powersports dealer in Metuchen, NJ. Looks sweet! I will say that compared to my beloved 2014 DLX, I'm not a big fan of the shape of the gas tank. I also prefer the darker red of my bike.

The sales guy seemed pretty savvy and noted many of the differences on the new bike. When I am next on my bike while at the dealer he offered to wheel the '17 out into the parking lot so we could take some photos of the 2 bikes side by side.

Interested to hear impressions of others who have seen it, or better yet, purchased one.

Local dealer (Fredericksburg Motor Sports) just got in their first 2017. Somethings I like, some I don't. Build quality is excellent.

Hello Teamwalker I just saw that same EX at FMS just a few days after purchasing my DLX (#132) I was hoping to have exclusive rights to the only DLX in Fredericksburg but it appears I have to share? So which CB do you like more the Standard or your DLX?

I saw the 2017 EX today. Wow, to me it was stunningly eye-popping in person. I thought I would like the gas tank but after seeing it in person I love the gas tank. It's just a whole 'nuther thing goin' on than the previous tank.
