I hope to be back to riding after a brief hiatus to install heated grips and then repairing the damage I caused during the installation process (See an upcoming "How-To" thread that I will likely title "How-Not-To").
If all goes well, I should be able to get the the 7 more days of riding needed to meet my 2020 goal. Every other 2020 goal I set has either been met or will be impossible to meet before 12/31. Those that were impossible for 2020 will likely appear in my list on the 2021 Rider Resolution thread I just started.

Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground. Waited until 1 pm to get out for my ride at which time it was sprinkling rain and 37 degrees. Rode 50.2 miles. Would much rather ride in the teens with dry roads lol. Still I enjoyed the ride. There are valuable riding lessons there for those willing to ride in iffy conditions.
Friday should set a new record for me for days ridden in a year. Previous record was 338 in 2017. Friday will make 339 with 13 more days to go in the year. A possible 352 out of 366 (This was a leap year)

Incredible!
Plus only need about 284 miles to hit 21,000 for the year. This year has turned out much better than I could have imagined at the end of last year.
I'm not sure what to think about 2021, whether to set any goals/aspirations or not.

Nice job with closing in on your record, Ferret, that's a fair share of riding at 21k miles.

Will this year be a new record high days/miles, or you already had a better one ?

Your records are stunning, ferret, but more important ... I wish you all the best in terms of health for 2021, and that you have many good rides coming, even if aches of some sort throw in a wrench one day or the other. Best !

Any recorded notes on the coldest day the CB1100 hit the tarmac?
The warmest day?

Well I've only kept weather records the last 2 years I think. I could look back but I imagine it was in the teens or 20s. Ive always used the ST 1300 or FJR for really brutal weather since they had fairings, elect grips and handlebar muffs. Tomorrow I'll see what I can find.
