Sorry to hear Jalsar. I basically did the same thing 2 months ago on my other bike, only I got a broken arm out of it. Count your blessings lol.

I think we could get away with less grabby front pads. My cars were grabby and I had to change them.

I ride frequently to Fallbrook, taking 74 from Orange county, ending up in Poway for lunch.
And I dropped all of my bikes sooner or later after buying them.
we may ride together some times.

Poway. Wow. I lived right across I-15 from Poway for about seven years. Fallbrook was a quick blast up the interstate, or along some interesting curvy two-lane roads. One of my favorite haunts was the Rainbow Cafe in Rainbow, CA, not far from Fallbrook (edit: I guess it's called the Rainbow Oaks Restaurant now). They served up a really good fried chicken. The sign above the counter said, "If the Colonel's chicken was as good as ours, he'd be a General." I'll never forget that.

Curiousity just got the best of me -- I had to Google the restaurant to see if it had changed since the last time I visited in the late-90's. Holy guacamole! $10.95 for bacon & eggs? $10.95 for three pancakes? $13.95 for Eggs Benedict? They're awfully proud of their breakfast items. Glad I don't live there any more! And geez, $11.95 for a plain hamburger! That's more than the fancy sit-down places in downtown Denver.

Sounds like they're pretty confident in their cooking.

On a recent road trip, I found this sign at the entrance to the restaurant and couldn't figure out if I should be worried. Big Grin

That's a good one!

Now that we digress, I'm sure you've stopped at the Roadkill Cafe. I don't think this is their menu, but you get the idea!

Food costs have gone up almost everywhere. Should be interesting when world population hits 20B.

Hey I've been there! Not to eat, but in their parking lot on Rt 66 for a photo op on my bucket list ride to California in 2014.

I have driven by it in a cage en route to L.A.
