I ordered the "Honda Genuine" rack from Samurider.com last night. $250 including freight.

I'll let you know how it goes as well. Looks like it will be a couple of weeks.

The 23,500yen price after currency conversion is 191.16usd today. Is S&H to the US $58?
I have two different item numbers (honda0063 & honda0008), but I only have the url link to the 0063 (above post). Does anyone have the other link? What is the difference between the two rear racks? 2013 vs 2014? DLX vs ? Ther appears to be a slight price difference too.

Thanks popgun!
Aside from minor cosmetic design (I see top case attachment differences), does anyone know what is diferent between the 2 models. Obviously price. If 63 fits years 10-15, doesn't 08 also fit 10-15 CB1100 base model? Does anyone with a 2013 CB1100 have the 008 installed?

0008 $154.55 plus s&h
Fits: Honda CB1100 -2015 *Standard model only. not for Delxue/EX.

0063 $191.16 plus s&h
Fits: Honda CB1100/EX/Deluxe 2010-2015

Anyone know what are the black triangles are for?

rbike,

The ...63 should fit ALL models, but will angle upward at the back more on the 2013, 2014 Canadian and 2014 US Standard. I believe that the black, triangular brackets are required on some models to reposition the grab rails so that the long rack mounting bolts will work.

The ...008 will only fit the 2013, 2014 Canadian and 2014 US Standard. It would hit the tail light on the 2014 DLX/EX models.

Thanks, I have a 2013 standard. I'll probably get the 08 and I'm going to build a bolt on box/plate and powder coat it matching Red. Pokey would be proud

I'm surprised no one has answered you question. Hopefully someone will. From what I remember reading on here, the '13 and '14 racks are different as the mounting angle is different and the '13 rack will not be flat on a '14.

You can email Mr. T with your year and model and maybe mention what country you are in and he can make sure you order the right one.

The black things are called garnish stays. The garnish is what most of us call the grab bar. Here is a link to the Honda site for accessories and instructions. The rack is called the rear carrier. http://cssportal.css-club.net/honda/MCA/MAIN010.aspx

You have to click accept, then Honda user, then at the top of the next page, select 751cc and up. Then select CB1100 and the year. find rear carrier, and click on the Adobe symbol and get the instructions/part diagram for the rack.

Thanks, Gumby did.
I did email Mr T - Now that I know who he is - LOL.
Assuming the 08 fits/correct, that's the one I'll order.
FYI, your link does not work - "Your session has expired. Please re-login from the Login Page"
Thanks everyone.

Try this: http://cssportal.css-club.net/honda/MCA/TERMS010.aspx

I'm having trouble posting for some reason... TCP/IP error.
If you get the sesson end again, just click the top page on the top of the page.
