Rebel73, At 4,600 miles I'm needing to replace the original front tire. Was thinking of getting raised while letters for both the front and rear at the same time. How do you like those Bridgestones?

The 59 Club is a motorcycle club which originated in England in 1959. It has become synonymous with cafe racers and the associated sub-culture.
I am joining the newly formed Los Angeles section. There are thousands of members worldwide and the headquarters are in Lodon.

I have no complaints about the Bridgestones, but will probably see what else is out there when the time comes. As for the letters, I did that myself with a silver oil based Sharpie.

As a side note I went back and edited the original How To this morning. Thanks to a suggestion by forum member White Dog I added a note about adding a cardboard wedge in between the brake pads after removing calipers to prevent accidental closing of the pads and making reinstallation easier. I normally do that and keep 1/2 dozen wedges on the side of my tool box just for that purpose, but was at my brothers house when we filmed the tute and I just didnt think of it at the time. Good idea especially for novices.
