Signal Relocation
#1

Any suggestions on rear signal relocation kit? I removed my stock ones and mounted aftermarket led's to my top box so I can put my soft bags where I want them.
I would prefer a more finished look.
Samurider has been sold out. I think I read GIVI has some as part of a side case kit, but haven't seen them for sale.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Ben

I've been thinking the same thing but I just want to move the rear signals back about seven inches or so to allow my soft bags to go back further. I'm looking to cobble some kind of bracket to clamp them to the rear topbox frame. Honda missed the mark on that design decision. It all works fine now, but I sit on the the bag strap and there is no pillion passenger, but still....

Yeah, what I have now works fine but my top box is bolted on and even though I have it on most of the time, I would like to move to a removable box ala one of the Givi offerings. Now, if I remove the box my signals go with it. Always need to be re-arranging SOMETHING.

Hey Ben, this might be an option for you. I've got a Givi box on my bike as well. Take a look at the picture. Just below the Givi mount plate, I attached a flexible Custom Dynamics LED strip. I just double-side taped some metal strips to the back of the mount plate to make a continuous mounting surface for the LED strip so it follows the slight V shape of the back of the plate.

If you're not running the Givi mount plate, it sticks to anything you put it on. I have one on the bottom edge of the license plate on the Bonneville.

I've got this one wired just as an auxiliary flashing brake light, but they make the same strips with integrated turn signals. Since it's mounted to the plate, not the box, it's always there if the box is on or off, and I don't have wires running inside my box.

You might want this one with turn signals: https://www.customdynamics.com/integrate...ar?cat=323

Interesting comments about the placement of the rear turn signals. I always wondered why my rear left had a slight scuff mark on it, until I bumped it with my foot swinging my leg over a few days ago. Ahhh, that's how that happened.

Webike shows one relocation kit in stock. https://japan.webike.net/products/22880742.html

They may have other brands too. I stopped looking as soon as I saw this one.
