I'm contemplating trading my Street Cup in for a Thruxton R. While it handles beautifully, it doesn't have the power I want for all-round riding. I can accept a little less agility for more power and brakes.
What is that bike like to live with? Anyone around here have one long-term?
I've seen some MY17's for deep discounts here and there.
With 97 HP and 82 lbs-ft of torque in about a 475-lb package, I think I could live with it for an all-day bike a lot better.
My earlier comments for the average guy notwithstanding, I'd go for the R as I want all the brakes and suspension I can get.
