Good price on Bridgestone replacement tires
#1
at least I think it's good

Went into my favorite acc shop where I get 99% of my acc and 100% of my tires ... Sporttour in Cinti Ohio (they do mostly internet sales but have a nice shop on the skirts of Cinti) That's wear I bought my tourmaster stuff and my National Cycle shield and they are big Givi and Saddleman seat dealers

http://www.sporttour.com/

Anyhow, while there I asked Ray about replacement Bridgestone BT 54's for the CB 1100..

They quoted me $111 for the front and $139 for the rear, but they won't be available until sometime in December

Just thought I'd pass on the info

That's a pretty good deal. That's about the same price I pay for the bias ply BT-45s on my CB750. I figured the -54s would be more expensive.

I think Bridgestone's first run of these tires all went to Honda. When I was looking around the net, most sites that had the 54s didn't even list them in the CB1100 sizes. If you didn't have them on your CB1100, you wouldn't know they existed Wink

Nice find Ferret!

When tire time comes (soon, South FL roads turn tires square fast) I'll be looking for an installer who won't ding the damn paint on the wheels. That stuff is touchy...just the slightest tap from the caliper when I pulled the rear to put the SuperSprox on left a mark. It was tiny, but if it's that easy to mark the paint, I shudder to think what a tire iron in the wrong hands will do.
