My left side mirror gasket split at the bottom and has left a 1/4 inch gap exposing the inside of the mirror housing. I'm sure Honda will replace the mirror, its just a bit of a pain to go through the motions. Anybody else have this happen?

Not exactly, but I did pick up a new left mirror at the dealer yesterday. A material that I think is glue bled out under the glass, leaving an ugly mess. Honda replaced it under warranty.

I'm not sure if this is the same problem, my issue is with the black gasket like plastic that holds the actual mirror. Glad to hear that the dealer handled your delema for you as I am sure they will for me. The reason I have owned twenty six Hondas is the quality and the way that Honda backs its product.

I'm fortunate to have Riva Motorsports for my local dealership. They've been in business since the 70's, steadily growing over the years. The same people work there year after year, even in sales. The service department is excellent; I wouldn't take my bike anywhere else.
