I have OEM Dunlops which are nearing replacement at 6,909 miles. While I'm satisfied with the Dunlops, I'd change tires/brand to one where the front tire (and I assume the rear) don't have the centerline groove found on the OEM Dunlop front tire.
What are my options?

The ones without Dunlops are running BATTLAXs; that's what's on mine.

But they have the line as well.
Are you replacing both tires, or just the front?

Here is a good front tire choice, only 15% grooved, will cut down on cupping, best tire i have found in my search. The rear is not OEM speck, has a wider width and lower profile, can be used but may require tweaking of the suspension.
My Bridgestone with 3800 Miles is just about toast. Center wear is good but off center due to cupping is down to the wear indicator in a few spots from pushing hard out of turns.

I had the Pilot 3's on my Guzzi and they are outstanding. The dual compound construction allowed for long wear and good cornering grip wet or dry. Turn in was also better than the stock Metzlers. Has anyone on the forum tried them on their Honda? My calculations show only 2mm difference in rear tire sidewall height, the stock tire being the taller.

There are a few tire threads around where Honda's POV is mentioned and how much thought/testing was put in to our stock tires by the Honda engineers....just like oil, I'll stick with their recommendations.

While not on the CB I have run multiple sets of PR2s and PR3s on my ST and like any other tire they cup too, just a little further down the road. I called one set of PR2s my "Flintstone" tires because they were all lumpy looking and look like they were hammered out of rock. They got noisy as they got old too and leaned over felt like a bad wheel bearing but standing straight up felt fine.
Maybe I can find a pic and post it. Ahh found one

No, but I'm ordering a set of 3's this week and probably on next month and i'll have a full review.
Redbird, is that 2mm sidewall height or overall height. 5/64th should not even be a issue.

I know there are a few other tire threads. I posted to see if the forum's collective wisdom has expanded the set of available tires from the stock Dunlops/Bridgestones. It seems that it hasn't.
Thanks for the comments...and the helpful observation that the Bridgestones also have the center line...I'll likely stick with the Dunlops in that case as I've had no issue with them. BTW, it looks like my front has less remaining tread than my rear; however, as some have mentioned, the rear starts out with more tread, so I'm not so sure that it wore down any faster than the rear. Given the inconvenience of taking the bike into the dealer multiple times, I'll likely replace both front and rear very soon...and possibly work in a few other service items, given I'm at 6,909 miles.

I was hoping to have the front done around 8,000 miles, and the rear and valve checks at 12,000 miles
