Questions: shortly after the engine is turned off will the oil level be a little below what it would be after the engine has been off for quite a while, long enough for the oil in the cooler to work it’s way down to the sump? Same question for the oil filter?

Can an engine properly lubricating cylinder bores so there is an oil wedge to prevent metal to metal contact not burn a small amount of oil?

What happens to the small amount of oil it takes to lubricate valve guides?
