Congrats on #39 Bill. Get them at every opportunity because going back to get the ones you missed is hard and expensive lol.
I nabbed # 43 last week thanks to Empty Sea lending me his bike to ride in S Dakota. Still need N Dakota and wondering if it will ever happen. Long way from here to there just to pick up one state. The other 4 I need are all on the east coast.

I see I-70 in Colorado is still full of giant potholes. Great twisty drive with incredible views though. It’s great that you are racking the miles up and still able to put together a recap. Very cool!
Btw, what song is that on the day 3-4 video? I really like it.

Since you are passing Wyoming already, I’d move the track a bit north, cut through little Bighorn and goto Cody.
On the way you’ll find gorgeous landscapes and zero red lights. This slows your trip a little down, but so what ... you’re not flying for a purpose.
How many continuous days of rain would make you return home, or seek refuge in an underground parking garage ?

Just finished up days 5,6,7,8 of 2021 moto trip through Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan. Local folks say this is most rain in this region in last 10 years…. Lucky me

. Minnesota was #39 of 48 states I want to moto thru on this motorcycle. Chilled with friends and relatives In Michigan on days 7,8. Leaving for Buffalo NY (#40) today (Sunday). Me slide show at YouTube’s San Diego Moto Bill channel. Hopefully will have better pics/content from upcoming states.
