Mine was packaged the same way but no dents or weld splatter at all. In short I felt it was very well made and totally impressed with it.
I would take pictures and send them to Yoshimura.

Maybe you could post a pic or two of the dents and crease? I don't recall any dents or creases on my unit, but before I look, it would be helpful to have something to compare against.

I have been trying to get pics from my old samsung rugby flip phone to my desktop pc, I have sent mms pics from my phone to my e-mail for years, but now the image will not show up in the email, I guess I will have to upgrade to a smart phone.
Sorry about the quality of the photos, But the dent and line crease can be seen[attachment=7806][attachment=7807]
Well that did not work!

Very Nice Ride!
Very Nice Ride!
Thanks. She’s a great companion.
The Yoshi pipes, despite being a full through headers back system are still totally civilized and quiet. It’s such a nice, smooth sound.
The Over Racing dual system sound deeper though... wish it wasn’t a pain ($$$$

to retrofit the dual exhaust to an STD.

I fully agree!,If the pipe was $299 I could live with the dents and extra hand filing, But not the $1169 that I paid, I talked to Yoshi and sent photos, cell phone to cell phone, waiting on a reply now, I cannot figure out why I could not post photos here on this site?
I purchased the Yoshi from motorcycle superstore on e-bay, I emailed them last night, But no reply, Yoshimura on the other hand says that they want the pipe back! someone in quality control may be punished for letting this one out the door!

Luge, you can post photos here. Go to <New Reply> and use the attachment feature, but bear in mind the file size of the photo has to be less than 250 kb. A better approach is to upload them to Imgur and link to them. See [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1913]here for instructions, although don't use Photbucket unless you're willing to pay an arm and a leg for the privilege.

Don't use Photobucket. It will delete your pictures in a few months unless you pay for them.
Imgur pictures still show up in searched posts from 2013 and that cuss is free.
