The 06's were the first of the Gen 2 FZ-1s ... A lot more sporty, but they came with awful fi fueling. Just awful. If your buddy's runs smoothly, someone has done a lot of work to get it running right.

Just looked over the specs.

This bike is going to be phenomenal. A quantum leap in naked sport categories. And inexpensive.

The rake/trail/wheelbase are identical to the FZR400. This thing is going to be stupid good as far as handling. All the specs and features are right on the money. Just the right amount of flexibility as far as the electronics package goes; ABS, TC, and power modes. Simplicity.

I also have the sense they have gotten the "feel" from the chassis/swingarm to the handlebars down. I expect this thing to be very communicative to the rider.

Maybe not the world's best track day bike but perhaps the world's best naked sport standard. For $13K it's a real deal.

Yamaha's got the lineup this year.

The only question is how well do the electronics work? Is the YCC-T glitchy? Because it is with the R1.

Interesting that it is almost exactly the same weight as the FZ8, but a much tighter chassis and of course a lot more power. The FZ8's trail lets it turn really quickly on tight roads with a lot of feel but preserves stability at speed; I wonder what this FZ10 going to be like. Those are tight numbers for that kind of weight.

Some really great bikes coming out this year.

oem touring screen and hand guards, those 2 options alone give the bike a totally different appearance

okay, I miss the nice soft bags Smile

I like this look, next to a Decepticon, the name Darth Vaders comes to mind

oh I thought hard bags/trunk were going to be an option? If not soft bags and a tank bag would do just fine.
