Why I love the UAE
#1
As much as this is a small country with a very poor used bike market, one can still walk into a random used bike dealer and find gems like this. I seriously feel like I NEED one of these in my life [Image: 4d3a417624a4a16dfd770753cbed5d6c.jpg][Image: 57f7d745981f2f5ee13766b37e67ec7b.jpg][Image: d371b4631299faa38b0af43b9493ebc4.jpg]

There is a number of forum members who would trade their eye teeth and their CB1100s for one of those, tod.branko. You could take one for the team and buy one. Big Grin

I am seriously considering it! The SP is 2019 0km, put of my price range around 15k USD, the 2010 is probably a great choice, it's got the EFI and just over 10000km on the clock, ~7500USD. The special edition is 2002, downside is that it's carbureted, but I just can't resist that color, and I also don't know the price so I'll go there one of these days. It's possible it's sold, Iranians love these bikes and tend to snatch them up very quickly as they come in the country because they can't import straight from Japan, so they buy here, load on small boats (dhaws) and send them over as spare parts, then repack them there onto whatever papers they have.

I believe the only downside to these bikes is the engines thirst for petrol and that big engine could do with a six gear on motorways. If fuel is cheap where you are I cannot think of a reason not to buy one of these fabulous machines.

If the CB1100 survives with 5 gears I believe so will the 1300, and the 5th is a proper overdrive, it comes down really low, and there is so much torque on tap there is barely ever a need to downshift. Added bonus they pop wheelies like mad. And as far the petrol goes, it's still a motorcycle, it will still do 30mpg or more, which is very acceptable

Talk about how much Iranians love their CB1300

Update just showed the Mrs this video, she asked if she can have that bine lol, I explained it's a handful, so she said I could get one and she agrees to take over the 1100 but only if I go for this black one in the pic

I don't have the heart to tell her I can't afford it at the moment [Image: 7ae9e3bce124453cdb8866bd87a1c1aa.png] it's a 2019 0km. So darn beautiful, perhaps next March[Image: 2abfb617d4226b5db308bc7cf96136a0.jpg]
