The first thing I did when I bought my CB 1100 was order a Corbin seat. It is soooo much better than stock. Yeah, it's firm, but you will love it. Believe me- I've owned three Corbins over the years and I'm sold Thumbs Up

Tried these. This is the WORST fitting garment ever. Read the review on the RevZilla site. Note who wrote it Hello
Now these might be better, and the price is 1/10th of the Dainese.

Of course, they look a bit like a baboon's butt.

Bob, your review would definitely keep me from buying a pair of the Dainese shorts.

There is no way I'm wearing baboon butt pants! Smile I'll keep on using my Airhawk.

IMO, the solution to being comfortable with a seat is TO RIDE MORE!
From decades of riding, I'd have to say, soft seats are less comfortable.
I do 5-600 mile days on the stock - as well as my cafe seat - all the time.
It's the rider more that it's the seat. One should try getting in shape before spending a ton of $$ on something that's still not going to solve one's seat problem Wink

Yes, gluteus conditioning is an important factor, for sure.
Another option would be maybe bicycling shorts? Seems like they would fit inconspicuously under jeans and provide some padding.

I don't think padded bicycling shorts would work very well. They're padded mostly in the crotch area and designed for much narrower saddles. I think they would make uncomfortable ridges while riding on a motorcycle saddle. Maybe a sheepskin or one of those bead thingies?

So far, I'm really liking my Corbin saddle. I have to stop every two hours for fuel, anyway.

I agree with Geezer..the more you ride, the more your bottom becomes conditioned. Like any other muscle regular excercise helps. ( excercise in this case meaning riding). I have only found 1 seat I thought truly horrible and that was my son's FJ-09, but I bet if I could ride it every day after a few weeks I could be putting in 9 or 10 hours a day on it.
