So the seat is finally broken in to my backside and very comfortable...
However, it is extremely slippery....I am sliding all over the place.
Thinking about having an upholstery shop sew a piece of alcantara type fabric over the seating area...
Thoughts?
Advice?

Mines like that too especially after I put some leather lotion on there.. thats what mad eme get knee grips on my tank

I noticed this on my concours as well. I thought it was my pants but no...its the seat.

Clean it with washing up liquid ( Ajax)

My Corbin seats are vinyl and there was just too much Honda Spray Cleaner and Wax on it. You can always put back leather conditioner back after you cleaned it with the Ajax and see if you like the less slippery seat.

Good point, I will try that thank you. Mine is definitely leather so I dont want it to crack on me but maybe I can keep it dry when I'm using it. And then add the leather lotion when it's sitting for periods of time

My leather Corbin is also fairly slippery now that I think about it. I always figured it was my polyester riding pants.

My first motorcycle I (being a noob) "Armour-All" wiped the seat (flat bench style). Was fine for single up, but when the girls got on the pillion and we came to a stop - whew, things got exciting.

That was the last seat I ever polished up.

Yes , do NOT polish a seat , using dishwashing water/Ajax does the trick
