+500 on increases stopping distance for a skilled rider. I have thought about trying to remove my ABS fuse to kill the ABS and remove the bulb for the ABS warning light and just have regular brakes if the ECM or ABS module don't set off a MIL light. I will try it and let everyone know what happens. I think you should be able to lock up the rear brake and skid at least you could slide bike sideways if needed.

Oh boy. Big can of worms. I respect both your opinions but there is room for discussion that may eclipse the famous "Which oil" thread. Maybe someone will start an ABS, GOOD OR BAD thread.
