This combo works well for me. The Road Comet keeps the wind off my chest and my head out of turbulence in the summer and the EX keeps me warmer and much drier in the winter. It takes less than 10 minutes to swap them out and that includes the time spent trying to remember where I put the parts in my basement Rolleyes
I'm 5'7", but taller than Ferret Tongue

Welcome. This is the one I chose. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-CB1100-20...23c6ead21b

I agree with Rocky. Finding the perfect wind protection on the CB isn't easy. When I bought my bike, the previous owner included one of the those full-size Plexistar 2 screens by National Cycle. At 5'10'', it creates concussion-level buffeting.

On the other hand, it's great at speeds less than 40mph. It helps me extend the riding season given that it offers some hand/body wind protection.

Many members on this forum take their CBs on cross-country trips, but I'm not really sure how. I get wind-fatigued after two hours or so on mine. I will say that switching to a more aerodynamic helmet helped immensely (Bilwell Gringo S--->Shoei RF-SR) with comfort on longer rides.

Originally, I wasn't going to post a photo, but this arrangement of using the National Cycle Deflector screen has worked well for me on a number of bikes used for the long haul. It looks goofy perched up high like that but it's function over form. For me, being up that high removes almost all of the the buffeting all the way up above the helmet. If I wanted a completely serene ride I'd use a larger shield but I still want some kind of sensation of riding in the wind. I had my old VT1100 set up like this and it was enough coverage for a month long ride around the US clockwise, longest riding day on that trip was 750 miles Arkansas to New Mexico. Sensation of the wind but without the fatigue. Of course YMMV.

Indeed. That is different lookin'. I reckon there would be no issue of negative pressure behind the screen. (e.g. when wasps and sometimes birds get stuck between you and the wind shield)
