Howdy, I did not get any info, book or manual when I bought my CB1100EX with 1200 miles on it. Heck, I did not even get a 2nd key. 10W-40 is what I ran in my last couple bikes, the 2003 Speedmaster and 1998 Suzuki 1400 Intruder. I did however, buy off ebay the 2013-2017 Honda Service Manual for all CB1100's from 2013 to 2017, models A/SA/CA/NA for about $69. It says pretty much what I have been doing all of my motorcycle life, adjust weight of oil for air temperature. USE 10W-30 from about 18F to about 70F, and 10W-40 to 110F, which is me in the Summer in South Texas.
Which is shown in the link you shared. For $69, best Service Manual I have ever bought!
I have to add I teach Physics and Chemistry, so I have a little more knowledge about the Physics of motorcycles than the average cyclist.
