You avoid all the oily muck on your wheel rim, spokes and swing arm too, that would be nice to have. Unless you are doing very large annual mileage the benefit might outweigh the cost.

Convenience has a price too. The thought of not having to do the chain maintenance, as cheap and easy as it may be, every 500 miles has to be worth something right?
