I did make sure connections were tight... Now I'm going to remove battery and charge it on old style charger 2amp. have it load tested. If it is good I suspect a mouse has chewed something to drain it!!! I will get some moth balls in socks and hang them off clutch and brake handles. mice don't like the smell of them.
