rear brake question

Hope I am using the correct area in the forum. I just bought a standard 2014 cb1100, no ABS.
It only had 1500 original miles. The front brake works really well, but the rear brake seems pretty anemic. I stomp down on it and it doesn't seem to work that well. Is this a normal thing for the cb1100?
As I stated above, I am new to the forum, so is the rear brake on the cb110's kind of weak or is it just me?
