I got it in December of 2015.
So either its a 2015 or a 2014 bike
Being European and as you can see by the spoke wheels, its an EX.
It has the new digital dash with 6 gears.
And the tank that came after the teardrop tank and before the current model offered.
So yeah, definately a 2014-2017 model.
Asian facebook pages are flooded with the idle issues of the EX and as I remember, many of the 100 pages that this topic holds, are compromised by 2014 and up models.
So, big was my surprise to read a active member state that he doesnt remember if 2014 and post 2014 models have the issue.
If anything, I'd say it are mostly 2014 and up models that suffer from this issue.
Than again, this is a US board and maybe non US members aren't as active here, or the number of EU members is small compared to non US members.
But when I brought in my bike, the Honda dealer knew about the issue and it was he who sugested to swap throttle bodies, since this "fixed" the problem in a similar case in The Netherlands.
So I'd assume, the problem is bigger than what is perceived on this US board.
I don't know if "ex" for Asia means a particular year or not, but:

2013 and 2014 models yes...but "and up"?...I'm not trying to be difficult, but I just don't think that's true--at least not for this thread. I know I have read every post on this thread, but my memory may not be correct. However, I did a spot check of about 25 pages between p30 through p100. I didn't see any mention of a 2015-16 (Europe or Asia only) or a 2017 (U.S. included) model. The spreadsheet I linked before shows only 2013 and 2014s, no "and up" models.
Not trying to win an argument or be overly picky, but I think it's important to clearly establish if the high/low idle issue has been a problem for 2017 (U.S.) models, because at one time (going on memory here) I believe someone mentioned that there was a part number difference between the throttle body (or maybe it was the IACV) for U.S. 2014 and a U.S. 2017 models, which would lead one to think that a "fix" had been found, and the new models were free from the issue.
I can't speak to Asia and Europe, but if there are any U.S. '17s with this issue, please chime in. If I'm mistaken--should there be any 2017ex models with the issue--I would like to know for future considerations should the problem occur on my '17ex.
