That behaviour is pretty clear. Good capture.
Never seen it on a 2014 model. But five years in so far, who knows what is to come.

Riko...to be clear, isn't your bike a 2014ex? The Ferrett stated post 2014 models--not be be insulting, but that would be 2015, 16 (which the U.S. didn't receive, but other countries: yes?) and 2017ex (which U.S. did receive) and of course newer models.
If you look at the [url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qd6ncVq510VJrFiv7-MGQ5FHNMdHeLxpyQO14I7-UpE/edit#gid=0]CurlyJoe spreadsheet, which [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=11247]Cormanus links here, one can see that all the bikes are either 2013 or 2014 (dlx, ex and std) models. Riko, I assume the info there is correct and your CB1100 was, in fact, a 2014 model--which would make Ferrett's statement (no reports of affected post-2014 models)...true.
I haven't checked other cb1100 forums in Asia or Europe to see if any 2015-2019 models have the high idle issue. But again, we see no reports on this forum of that being the case.
I did a quick check from the spreadsheet:
2013: 8 bikes affected
2014 standard: 13 bikes
2014 deluxe: 5 bikes
2014ex (europe only?): 5 bikes
1 bike of unknown year
These numbers don't mean much by themselves because we don't know how many bikes of each flavor were sold. The only thing we know is that there are 2013 and 2014 models that have been affected.
So, if anyone knows of a 2015-16 (outside of U.S.) or a 2017-19 model with a high/low idle issue, then that would be interesting to know.
Having had the idle issue on my 2014 standard, then having traded it in and eventually buying a 2017ex...well, if my '17 develops the same I would think it would be time for me to move on from this otherwise beautiful bike--wait, nearly forgot--I have a 5 year warranty on the '17, so I'm good for awhile regardless.
Until then, fingers crossed that no post-2014 cb1100s will develop the high/low idle issue.
