Since high idle does not cause the engine to die, I would consider it just an annoyance.
Not all low idle issues may be the IACV.
High idle may not have the same cause(s) as low idle.
For example, it may idle high if the ECM thinks the temperature is colder than it actually is.
Be good to first check electrical connections.
How many miles?
Ridden much in the rain?
Parked in rain?
See DTC info on FSM pages 5-15 & 5-16.
