CB1100 Idle speed instability problem

I'm not an IT professional, so I can't give you a right answer to your question. I think they flashed, maybe reseted the ECU but did not asked if they did. They updated the software of the CB with a new programm using the input where they did the diagnostic thing. Doesn't it automatically mean they have overwritten the old programm of the ECU,
or can only be parts of it been overwritten? I'm not an expert.

One member in our German CB Forum told me, the software update will only cure the low idle problem not the high one. The high one is gone from alone, so I'm still hopeful, with no shown faults in the computer, that the low mysterium is also away now.
