I spoke to Kelly on the phone; I believe I posted the results of that conversation somewhere on this thread. In summary, Honda told me:
1. They were not aware of the problem.
2.There are not any re-mapping "fixes" available that they are aware of.
3. If a re-mapping fix was available in Europe then Honda could not legally re-map a U.S. bike with a map designed for a different country.
4. They are sorry that I am having a problem, but there is nothing they can do, so "have a nice day".
In other words, Honda told me to "Go Pound Sand".
Unless more people contact Honda and let them know about this situation then Honda is not going to do anything about it.
