This thread is about a problem with idle speed, both too low and too high. The problem you describe sounds like something else entirely.
The check engine light coming on should be a good place to start. I'm not an expert on Honda's ECU, but whatever caused the abrupt power loss at 70 mph and the check engine light, should be recorded in the memory. I think I'd start at the dealer with this one.
