I had it down to lots of things, all of my own doing, PCv, Flashed ECU, Air intake mods, Cat Free Exhaust... etc...
Quite relived to find it's not down to my tinkering but obv. not happy to have a faulty bike. Esp. as the Warranty is up next month.
I have the same model as the other faulty bikes, EX 2104.
Riko, have you had any trouble since having the throttle body ass. re-placed?
Thinking I should start some sort of warranty claim before it runs out.
I know of some riders who keep a second ECU around (purchased on eBay or similar) to install to meet warranty or regulatory requirements.
On the other hand, if you have close relationship with your dealer you may be able to find a way around all those modifications.

I do have a good relationship with the dealer, so hoping that will see me thru.
As it's a common problem and a recognised fault... even if un-known fault, I'm hoping that the mods won't matter. If it were just me then they'd have a fair point, I'd say.

since the replacement none at all
bring it to the dealers and show him my vid
than ask him to fix it under warrenty and to make an official complaint.
There have been complaints made in Thailand, Taiwan, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland.
Honda can perhaps find the issue if everybody turns in their throttle bodies for inspection and hopefully find the root scource, wich finally can result in a recall for better parts.
Dealers can be asked by Honda to bring in the parts they changed to check if the dealer didnt replace anything they shouldn't based on a spotchecks.
That way Honda can compare similar cases and inventorise the cases.
According to the dealers they have 6 months to do so, afterwards those parts are destroyed because they obviously can't keep the parts.
You can imagine if Honda gets a lot of these expensive replacements (whole throttle body is worth more than 2600 euro's) the whole process will go faster!
So make it official and don't do custom repairs.
As far as possible solutions, a whole throttle body replacement is the ONLY 'solution' to this problem.
I base this from experiences read on the 2 Asian facebook pages of our bike, Thailand and Taiwan.
Also some suggestions on the French and German boards did not work such as disconnecting the battery for a short or long period.
Ps are you on the english board as well?
How come all those members are the most passive bunch I've seen?

Riko, I am, or was, on the British Forum but every time I checked or posted there was radio silence... so, stopped checking in. This forum is great and I prefer the world wide nature of it. Best bike forum I've ever been on.
Cormanus, are you still in the UK?
Yes. Head home on Friday.

From which, Django, you can deduce that I'm either not a gentleman or the English forum is not one of my amours or, both.
